Scott Pearson joins the judging panel in 2026, bringing over 25 years of senior management experience in the coach and bus industry. He served for 14 years as Managing Director of Newport Transport, followed by 10 years as Divisional Traffic Manager at Stagecoach in the Highlands, with full responsibility for governance, regulatory compliance and strategic delivery, including major infrastructure investment and decarbonisation initiatives.
Scott has worked closely with Welsh Government, contributing evidence to scrutiny committees and advising on transport policy and sustainable operational delivery. He is founder and Chair of the Coach and Bus Association Cymru and former Chair of CPT Cymru. Beyond the industry, he has held senior third sector leadership roles, including Chair of Cancer Research Wales.
A Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, Scott is recognised for his integrity, independence, critical thinking and sound judgement.
