Gary Nolan

Gary Nolan joins the judging panel in 2025 with 47 years industry experience. Gary is a former senior leader in the bus industry, having held Managing Director positions with both First and Stagecoach and Regional Director with Stagecoach for his last four years before taking retirement in 2017. That retirement was short lived as he was appointed as Chief Executive of the Greater Manchester Bus Operators Association supporting GM’s bus operators in their discussions to find an alternative to franchising.

Gary’s career started as a bus conductor in South Yorkshire before he progressed through the ranks and having a good understanding of most roles undertaken in an industry that he is still proud to serve and support.
